On Thursday I hosted a cupcake baking and coloring night. I’ve notice that several residents on 3 East have been watching ‘Cupcake Wars’ recently. So I thought it would be fun and relaxing before studying for finals are in full swing since baking is good for relieving stress. Baking can be meditative, it stimulates the senses that increase endorphins, it increases a person’s creativity, and nourishing activities help the body feel good. I also brought coloring papers for people to color when waiting for the cupcakes to bake. 10 another ways to keep in mind to relieve stress are listen to music, call a friend, talk yourself through the problem, eat right, laugh it off, try tea, be mindful, exercise, sleep better, and breath easy.
